Twin-screw Mechanical pulping Technology known as TSMP is a high-yield mechanical pulping technology.
It is the improvement process of chemical pretreatment equipment and process of fiber raw materials.
The improvement of chemical pretreatment equipment and process facilitate the improvement and development of the high-yield pulping technology.
Especially for the shortage of pulping fiber raw materials, the decreasing of the quality of raw materials and the deepening of diversity, the influences of the effects of fiber raw materials chemical pretreatment in the pulping proce-ss become increasingly significant.
TSMP which has a wide applicability of raw materials, it can realize low power-consumption, high-yield and low-pollution pulping. The electricity consumption is reduced by 30%, water is saved by 50%, production flow is shortened and the investment is reduced by 80% per ton of pulp.
Now, the TSMP technology and equipment have been widely utilized in making banknote paper, writing paper and cardboard by using a wide variety of raw materials including softwood and hardwood, textile fibers, annual plants, agricultural waste products and recycled fibers.
A wide selection of raw materials including:
1. Non-wood long fibers such as cotton linter, grade-3 cotton and cotton textile wastes.
2. Non-wood short fibers like bamboo chips, cotton stalks, cereal straws and bagasse.
3. Wood fibers such as poplar chips, eucalyptus chips and pinus massoniana.
4. Other non-wood materials such as oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB).
5. Recycled fibers.
This process is energy-saving and environmentally-friendly, compared to conventional processes,
20% to 30% reduction in energy consumption for fiber separation
10 to 30% decrease of chemicals and bleaching agents
Reduced water consumption, from 50% up to 90% for certain pulp processes.
